Metalworking
Laser Cutting
Thanks to the fully automated BLM LT7 laser tube fiber system, Metal 3 is able to cut iron, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper tubes. This enables the company to adopt a production philosophy that unleashes creativity and meets customer demands while ensuring quality and speed.
Bending
Metal 3's bending department, supported by the partnership with BLM, provides customised solutions through E-TURN tube benders. These benders are highly adaptable and efficient, capable of bending in both right and left directions, accommodating single or multi-radius configurations, fixed or variable shapes, and even solid profiles. The integration of VGP3D enables three-dimensional simulations for precise results.
Stamping and Drilling
Our workshop is furnished with a comprehensive array of machinery, including cutting and molding presses, drilling and bending equipment, standard drills, as well as Flowdrill-equipped drills for material-preserving threading. We also feature versatile tapping machines suitable for a variety of diameters. The precision in our drilling operations is a cornerstone of Metal 3's expertise.
Welding
The Metal 3 welding team comprises skilled professionals proficient in TIG, MIG/MAG, and brazing, including the use of brass and silver alloys. Our expertise extends to other materials like stainless steel and aluminium. Our workshop features 10 manual welding stations, 2 robotic welding systems, and a flash welder for a wide range of welding applications.
Pickling and Satin Finishing
Metal 3 srl performs pickling and satin finishing on various metals. Our eco-friendly pickling process avoids the use of nitric acid, reducing environmental impact and operator risks. Satin finishing is achieved mechanically and can be customized with various grain sizes to achieve the desired finish.
Surface Treatments
Metal 3 stands out for its top-quality surface treatments through external partnerships with industry experts in painting, electroplating, electropolishing, cathodic dip coating, and galvanization. After the finishing process, the materials return to our facility for a final quality check and the last stages of processing (assembly, storage, and shipping).
